Eoff Family

My journey with Project Joy & Hope began at a time when my son and I were navigating uncharted waters. The uncertainty of awaiting a double lung transplant for my son brought with it immense fear, anxiety, and questions that seemed to have no answers. It was a time when hope seemed distant, and despair threatened to overshadow every glimmer of light.

Yet, in the midst of our darkest moments, Project Joy & Hope became our beacon of light. From the moment we walked through their doors, we were enveloped in a warmth and understanding that instantly put us at ease. It wasn't just a facility; it was a home away from home, a sanctuary where compassion flowed freely, and where every member of the team became an integral part of our journey. This place became a home for Ryder and myself. Where my youngest son Gunner has his own space and where my husband and I can cook meals and continue to be a family.

To the incredible staff and volunteers of Project Joy & Hope, I extend my deepest gratitude. Your dedication to providing exceptional palliative care not only for my son but for families like mine, is nothing short of extraordinary. Your unwavering commitment to ensuring comfort, dignity, and support throughout every step of our journey has made an indelible impact on our lives.

From the compassion, solace, and guidance of Jan, Shelly, Chris, and Mckenzie our most challenging moments were met with ease. You lent a listening ear and even offered a comforting embrace, that has left an imprint on our hearts that will forever be cherished.

Project Joy & Hope is more than just a facility; it's a testament to the power of compassion and the resilience of the human spirit. It's a place where hope is not just a word but a tangible force that binds us together, propelling us forward even in the face of adversity.

Ryder received his life-saving double lung transplant on June 19th, 2024 and Jan and her team checked on us, sent us get-well cards, and rallied other support systems to send their love and encouragement in his healing process.

When my youngest son was going to be here for his birthday, Shelly went out of her way to surprise him with gifts and a party in the clubhouse! Everything here has been nothing short of amazing. This place was truly our home away from home.

Their kindness, compassion, and unwavering support have touched our lives in ways words cannot express. Thank you will never be enough….so from the bottom of our hearts thank you for being the shining light in some of our family's darkest days.
